SUMMER TRIP

This summer on May 31st, I am leaving for a month long trip to France and Iran. I've always wanted to go to France and see the famous Eiffel Tower, and go to little French markets and cafes. And well of course there's french men, oooh can't wait. I'll totally have to tell all about the guys I get with over in France (totally kidding), but hey I guess you never Know :/.
After 6 days in France I'll be heading to Iran for 3 weeks. I'm the first generation of my family to be born in the U.S., so most of my family is in Iran, except for a few in D.C. and Denmark. I've already been to Iran a couple times, but the last time I went was 7 years ago and I was never old enough that I had to wear the head scarf, and long sleeve, long pants thing. Now that I'm over the age you have to start wearing it, I'll have to wear a head scarf and trench coat. A lot of people misunderstand what people have to wear in Iran, unlike Afghanistan woman don't have to wear those Birkas that cover everything but the eyes, only like grandmas wear those. In Iran your whole body has to be covered (cept for hands and feet) and you can push your head scarf back to in the middle of the top of your head, which is why you'll see a ton of girls with major high lights in their bangs. But you only have to wear that when your in public places, when you've gotten inside a your home or event, you can wear whatever you want.
Though there's a lot of talk about nuclear bomb testings, and kidnappings in Iran, to me it's still a really beautiful place. I'm looking forward to going to the bazaars, markets, parks, and seeing the 50 cagillion family members I have. I hope even with the dress code there's a way I can run over there, because I love to run and don't want to be the slowest on cross country next year because of my 3 week break. So I hope I'll be able to run in Laila Park, which is this absolutely GORGEOUS and HUGE park in the capital, Tehran, which is where my grandparents live. Another thing I love about Tehran is that it's a city and everybody walks everywhere, which I absolutely love. The only bad thing is that it could be pretty hot and I can't wear shorts and a tee when I go out.
---------
Since my trip is going to be a month long, I have to pack like everything I own, but I don't have everything I need.

Here's a list of things I need and some options:

A TRENCH COAT:
I like this simple Ben Sherman "Farah" Trench Coat from Urban Outfitters, it doesn't look too hot.

How cute are the white buttons against the navy in the Button Front Trench Coat from Urban Outfitters.

SKIRTS
I really like this skirt. Delias

Very cute skirt, and yellow, my favorite color. Forever21

SUNGLASSES
I love these sunglasses, especially the shape. F21

Here are more simple sunglasses. f21

TOPS
This is great to layer with a T or a vest or just with a jacket. Lush He Loves Me He Loves Me Not top from Lulu's Fashion Lounge

Here's a more summerfied vest - Lucy Love Primp Vest from Lulu's Fashion Lounge

This is a nice little top from delias

This is such a cute henley, I love the sea horses. Delias

I think this tank is just so much like summer, it reminds me of a picnic. Delias

I love this whole outfit, it's very simple and clean. Delias

HEADSCARF
I don't know how this would work on your head, but I like the pattern and color of the Exploded Floral Woven Scarf from UF

Paris, how perfect. UO

DRESSES
I love this sheik and simple Button Dress form Alloy

This dress seams like a less puffy and more gorgeous version of a dress I saw in the 90's at a wedding. This is a Diane von Furstenberg Nolan Linen Sundress (Net-A-Porter), I know it's like $345, but still i love it.

This is a very feminine dress, which I love, it seems like it would be better on a taller person, and I'm 5'1. This is a Miu Miu Crepe de Chine Dress, Net-A-Porter

BOTTOMS
I Dont think I would wear these on my trip, but they're pretty good Lacoste Knock offs, right? Lucy Love Cameron Alligator Short, Lulu's Fashion Lounge

These are white slacks by Proenza Schouler for Target, I got them on sale for 8 dollars. (That's Me)

Here are a pair of white pants form Abercrombie and Fitch

These shorts look WAY cuter on the model. American Eagle

SHOES (that go with trenches)

I saw these in seventeen a while ago, and I just fell in love, they also seem like great shoes to wear with a tench coat, and very vintage. Chloe Circle buckle pumps, net-a-porter

BAGS
This is one of the most gorgeous bags I have ever seen in my entire life. This is a Chloe Edith tote with shoulder strap (Net-A-Porter)

I love the color of this Chloe Bay leather bag. Net-A-Porter

This is just another gorgeous bag by Chloe, Large Paddington Tote, Net-A-Porter

For a more relaxed bag how about this adorable Candy Striper handbag in Purple, from Lulu's Fashion Lounge

******And during any summer trip you can't forget the essential skin and hair products. All these items can be found at wal-mart, traget, drug store, or department store.:
SKIN
Moisturizing is one of the most important things you can do for your skin. If you don't moisturize your skin will over produce oil and you'll break out (except for those who never do). I love this moisturizer because it also has SPF15 in it, so you're also getting sun protection, and sunscreen is probably the most imprortant product you can use for your skin.
For a concealer, this is Neutrogena's SkinClearing Oil Free Concealer, I've never used this one before, but it seems like it would work.
I am absolutely in LOVE with this moisturizer. It has tanner in it, and it's so natural, I use it twice a day and I don't end up orange. I'm already really tan, but it's harder for my face to tan than for the rest of my body, so this evens me out. This moisturizer also has SPF20 so I'm getting 3 in 1.

This is the sunblock I use for the rest of my body. I use it before I run, when I go to the pool, or when I'm wearing shorts or no sleeves. The SPF45 was really thick and gross for me, so I stick to the SPF30.

This is a BOBBIE BROWN ad that reminded me of the VOGUE cover I'm painting (look under the post of My Art)

After I put concealer on I use a loose powder to even out my skin, and give me a fresh, clean look. I use this BOBBI BROWN face powder in Warm Natural.

I love this mascara! I already have long eyelashes I just needed something to make them stand out more and this totally works, I use my TWEEZERMAN eye lash curler (above, sephora) first, then follor with the MAX mascara in black (I use the waterproof). But remember not to curl your eyelashes after you put mascara on or they'll fall out!
I love eyeliner, it really makes my eyes pop, but don't get me wrong, I'm totally not one of those girls who puts the pounds of eyeliner one, and makes their eyes look HUGE! That's not me. I like a little on top and a little on bottom with this CLINIQUE cream shaper for eyes in Black Diamond.

HAIR:
My hair is naturaly curly, but needs something to perfect the curls. I've used so many products, but this works the best out of all of them.
When I straighen my hair, I always use my CHI iron.
