The Shins . The Shins . The Shins . The Shins . The Shins .

I was listening to the radio a while back when I heard the song Phantom Limb by The Shins. The Shins are amazing. They're an indie rock group of four guys; James Russell Mercer, Martin Crandall, Dave Hernandez, Jesse Sandoval, and a new member Eric Johnson (I think). They're on Sub Pop Records. The band started in 1997 in New Mexico, when their low profile band busted. They released 2 singles on Omnibus and then went on tour with Modest Mouse. On the tour is where they met a guy form sub pop records and got sighned. The first album they released was in 2001 Oh, Inverted World, followed by Chutes To Narrow, and Wincing The Night Away (which was just recently released). My favorites songs by them are Phantom Limb, Girl Inform Me, Caring is Creepy, and Saint Simon. You can visit their site here.

Jewelry

I decided to look up some jewelry. I love bangles and ring. I'm not sure why, but I'm not a big necklace person or earrings. Though, I have so many earrings, one of my favorite pair of earrings are circular, black with a flower inside, by Betsy Johnson.

Sweaters

One of my favorite things in the world are sweaters. Instead of T-shirt and Jeans, I'm more of a sweater and jeans kind of girl. I absolutely love them. One girl at school wore this gorgeous lacoste sweater. It had a huge alligator on it and it was half cream and half burgundy, but I couldn't find a photo of it. One of my favorite sweaters is one I got on sale at Target. It was by Paul and Joe and said Paul and Joe all over it, I love it. The only bad thing is I shrunk it in the dryer. I know it sucks when that happens.

This one's a different kind of sweater, but I just love the neck line and the sleeves. More colors urban

The contrast with the brightness of the owl, and the neutral cream really work. urban outfitters
I saw this in the urban outfitters catalog and I fell in love. But it does look kind of itchy.

God! This is so freaking vintage, I love it so much. Delias.com

This looks extremely comfy, something I would totally want to wear as a dress, though it does look short for that. delias
